Holy days? I think not…
So I’ve been on holidays (well, not “at work”) up in the town I grew up in, catching up with old friends.
Since I’ve been here my timetable has been drastically changed and I’ve realised a few things (which I kinda knew already):
1) I hate cigarette smoke and cigarettes (and other smokeable devices)
2) I don’t enjoy sitting around doing nothing and prefer doing ANYHTHING outside than nothing inside
3) I don’t enjoy sitting around until 2am (doing nothing) and then sleeping in ‘til 10am (which is earlier than others get up)
4) I don’t like endless complaining about things, which can’t be changed (the weather for example)
5) TV and internet watching do not generate good conversation.
Apart from that it’s been great to see some old friends and hang out and see what they’re up to, especially when I haven’t seen them for so long (some of them years). It was kinda cool to drive/ride around my old stomping grounds too.
