"what can you do but just sit and sweat in such hot conditions?" weeksi, gold coast, december 2003.
i'm up on the gold coast for Christmas and it's pretty warm, like so hot you can't actually sleep in cause it's too sweaty...and cause the sun gets up at 4:30 it's hard to stay longer than a few hours... :)

Wednesday, December 10

went for my first swim in the surf today @ nobby's in newcastle, small, clean, clear, warm and nice... :)
unfortnuately i was still burnt from yesterday when i did laps for 20 minutes in the sea-pool and got burnt!!!!

Monday, December 8

so i was coming out of a wedding...
the camera full of shots from norn iron + my trip + friends + arty stuff (all on B/W courtesy of graham robinson) when i waved good bye to some friends.
as i did my hand caught the strap (good one you clumsy bum!) and ejected (threw, chucked, pegged, turfed, dropped, hauled...) my precious camera and cargo onto the road under a parked car...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...it happened so quick it was more surprising than annoying. i was hoping it was ok but knew twas smashed! result:door semi-snapped (now semi-fixed), flash broken, and film out. so looks like i lost 36 shots, which really stinks! the camera still works which is a relief...i then played squash and won 4 games to 2 and now (2 days later) can hardly move as all my muscles are sore... :(

Tuesday, December 2

i was gonna do a last post in the uk but it didn't happen...
it's been a pleasure and i look forward to seeing you all again + the b-ute country. at the same time i'm happy to be returning "home" to other loved ones.
so many people to love (and that love me), so little time!
i'll keep bloggin...

Praise the Lord!!!
i'd written a big one about a FANTASTIC answer to prayer, but it didn't come up...so here's a small version: i was "legally" allowed 20kg + 5kg hand luggage. i got on da plane with 47kg suitcases and prob close to 15kg hand luggage, for free!!! thank you LORD!!! :)

in seoul...5:50pm...(8:50am uk time and 7:50pm aussie time??)...the FISRT TRIP was ok, under 10 hours... now waiting for the next plane (2 hours). the food was D-lecious!!! bring it on...
