It was always going to be a good day…

It all started with a small green barrel at about 7am just off the point at Burleigh (I haven’t spent time in the “green room” for a while). About half an hour later, it started to rain (if you live in australia, surfing in the rain in summer doesn’t happen that often and is THE BOMB!), which made the water smooth and quiet. Back at the homestead we had a few good games of Carcassonne, some coffee and some of Nome’s great baked blueberry muffins. Yum. Then it all happened very quickly and now I’m an uncle. Praise God for such a great day and for his protection during it all!
