Gone for good.
Well I know I wrote a post called the boar is no more but it has now been taken away for good. I finally got through to the people who crashed into me and got some details. They do not have insurance, so my company took care of it. A guy came round, looked at the car, asked me if I wanted to keep it (to which I said I didn’t) and then told me it was a write off. The result is that they gave me market value for it: $1250, which is what I paid for it. So it all worked out well in the end, except that I am now car-less…
