Emotional!
The school captains, prefects and seniors thought they would bless us (the teachers) today. They shared at staff devotions this morning, provided breakfast, morning tea and a luscious lunch. They also took care of our recess and lunch duties! In last period, at assembly, they made us wait outside and they called us in, to a standing ovation. There, they showed us a short presentation of all the teachers caught on video, with background music. They sang us a song, then different students got up and called us to the front one by one to give us commendation awards for individual things we had done. It was amazing and so personal and emotional. The whole school behaved very appropriately and respectfully.
It was unreal and cause I’m leaving at the end of the year, it was very special to me. thanks guys!
