what with the end of school, flying up the coast to see my family, surfing,
running, swimming, snorkelling, walking, eating, sweating due to tropical
heat, playing guitar, watching and listening to the torrential downpour of
tropical storms, playing with "cyclops" the one eyed kitten, chatting with
nome, adam, mum and dad, going to the hospital to see adam with malaria (he
just got back from 4 weeks in Zambia...), sleeping (that's all i seem to be
doing since i finished school for the year, i get back from a surf at about
7am, have some brekkie, play with the kitten and have a nap, or have lunch
and have a nap, or nap in the car or...), making sushi rolls, taking photos,
watching King Kong and relaxing, there has been little time and opportunity
to hop on the web and update the ol' blog.
so on that note, i hope you're all having a good break and a great Christmas
with friends or family. in this fun, busy and (over) indulgent time, try to
pause and reflect on why we celebrate...
have a good Christmas and a happy new year as well (as i expect this will be
the last post this year!).
take care, whether in the hot sun with beach, BBQ and prawns or in the snow
or rain with mulled wine, turkey and the warmth of friendships...love and
