So I went for a big (3 and a half hours) training ride on sat. I joined up a bunch of local, less local and unknown trails to give me some distance. I hit the “hunger wall”(where you’re totally out of energy and need food fast to keep going) at about the 2hr mark, on a ridge, a long way from home. But thanks to my muesli bar I was able to refuel and make it home. I found some great tracks and will prob head there next sat for another go at them. I was pretty stuffed when I got home, but after a cold bath (with as much ice I could find) I joined the crew for a game of indoor soccer.

Was out with Tim last week on the trials in Castlewellan - great craic - you would have loved it!
