Psalm 121
So I was riding home from school yesterday, just about to cross a busy road when my chain broke. I got thrown onto the hard tar and felt rather embarrassed. The thing is, had I crossed a second earlier I would’ve probably been hit by the fast traffic, but instead, I waited for a clear gap and crossed.
Last night I was sitting at a Sons of Korah gig (possibly my favourite band ever!). They sang psalm 121 and I just sat there thanking God that he does watch over us. Does that mean it’s all good all the time? Does that mean that we’re invincible and that nothing bad will happen to me? NO! But I have the reassurance that no matter what, God watches over me!
