Things that make the blood boil…

So I was riding to work the other morning, in the sunshine, blue sky and crisp air. I ride up the bike path, through uni, over the rail bridge, through a suburb, across a busy road and into the street the school is on. On Wednesday, as I was riding over the bridge a very nice but very serious security guard stopped me to tell me that I wasn’t allowed to ride over the bridge…you say what now?!! I inform him that I have been for the last 2 years and he tells me that this has always been the law!

 UN-BELIEVABLE!

It’s a fantastic bridge, 200m long and 3m wide, perfect for walkers and cyclists alike, cutting out a dangerous section of busy road. I’ve phoned and emailed to complain and will continue to do so. I will ride it everyday unless there are many walkers on it.

It’s ironic that they want us to get off and walk beside our bikes TAKING UP TWICE AS MUCH ROOM as we would if we were safely riding, streamline…

hahaha - you make me laugh. The title of this blog is very misleading! I thought 'Things that make the blood boil...' would lead on to something about global trade rules or some unacceptable breach of human rights!

yeah well that all makes the blood boil as well...i guess different amounts of blood boil...or at different temperatures...! :)
