So the “pro” running teachers from school asked me if I wanted to come for a run with them on Sunday morning. I was well impressed and honoured that they’d ask me. I asked ‘how long for?’ they said ‘2 hours’… that sounded a bit long for me but they assured me it would be ok as they would run 6mins walk 1min and only walk the hills.

So I rode in at 5:45am (so early for a Sunday! I thought long and hard about ignoring the alarm and rolling back over in bed), met the boys at 6 and we started off. 2 hours and 21kms later (a half marathon!!!!!) we were back. I was feeling fine, only blisters on my toes. I got on da bike and rode to Church where I was song leading.

Fantastic! A great way to do longer runs and not be totally wrecked…though I must say today my legs are a little sore (I guess the game of soccer at lunch may be the culprit!)…

You're going to be so hard to keep up with at the Mont - perhaps you could ride 6 minutes, walk for one?

Hey weeksi, John L here, just read your bolg thingy for the first time, quite kool, didn't know you did them but now I do I am well impressed. I am heaps keen to see your friends' "woodie" and maybe try it out sometime, sounds like a lot of fun! although I'm sure the "problems" would be a little to hard to overcome for me right now.
