so i thought i'd ride to bulahdelah today, where i was attending the engagement party of my cousin Peta and her fiance Darren. 90kms. i thought it would take 4-5 hours, but i went quite well...got a flat after 25mins and got to bulah in 2hrs 55min, which means i was averaging about 30kms/hour, which is pretty good. i was fairly happy with the ride (which i was doing as a training ride for the "highland fling" 100km in november). along the way i saw a dead koala...never like seeing dead ones, there's not enough live ones around! the engagement party was good, caught up with some blokes from school i hadn't seen for 8 years!
