well i've been on a Yr 6 (11-13 year olds) camp all this week at Myuna
Bay (a nice wee spot on the lake 25kms down the road from my place),
which explains my lack of bloggin. on the program were high ropes,
outdoor "indoor" rock climbing, archery, rogaining (orientiering),
kayaking, canoeing, disco, games, bmx riding, bush walking, camp fire
cooking, swimming, beach volley ball... it was pretty cool and a
fantastic chance to get to know most of the kids i'll be teching next
year in yera 7. all of them said how much they wished they could have
me as a teacher. hmhuhuhahahaaaaaa... little do they know! it was
pretty cool i must say, having kids so excited to come to high school
to be in my class. quite a good'n for the ol' self esteem!
so there u go, just got home. i'm tired, in a haze and sunburnt. i
think i'll got for a long ride tommorow to get some skills and fitness
for next week's last 8hr for the season...
