I was out training for almost 4 hours on Monday (public holiday thanks to the Queen) on the cross country tracks that’ll be used for Sunday’s 8hr race. About 10 kms of flat-ish mostly single track, which will be a hassle for passing but great for riding! It felt good, I scared myself a few times (almost hitting trees and boulders) but should be good on race day…the full-sus bike certainly makes riding up and down more smooth and should be much more comfy after a few hours… bring it on!
