so we (myself, mum, dad, nome and adam) left burleigh heads at 6:15
am and headed for mount warning (named like that by captain cook
cause it warns sailors to watch out for reefs or something...). we
started the "climb" (a walk assisted by chains at the top) at 7:20
and were back down for a picnic at 11:30. the view from the top
wasn't crash hot due to cloud and mist but it was well worth it. the
walk up is in beaut rainforest so twas delightful! back to burleigh
for some marking (for school) and then for a leisurely surf in 2ft
right-handers while the sun was setting...ahhhhhhhhh warm queensland
holidays by the beach... very relaxing! :)
