TEAM ESPY!!!
so i entered an endurance mtb event last month. i was riding with a bloke i've only met twice and ridden with as many times. we were in a 2 man team competing for fun. we had 8 hours to do as many laps as possible (6 mile laps) round a grueling bumpy forest course, lap for lap (about 28-35min per lap depending on yer fitness). so half way through the day we looked at the tally and we were 3rd, we kept it up and in the end came second!!!!!! just behind 2 of aussie's best riders and in fron of another sponsored team. bring it on!! i even won a $100 camelback. so there you go, there's another one comin up (on my home turf) which will be a challenge! i raced under team espy (thanks tim!) for a joke and twas weird seeing ESPY-2nd on the score board. results are up on www.workingweekseries.com and photos should be here. there are also a couplke of 24 hr events coming up, BRING IT ON!!
