too much thought, especially bout nothing or trivial matters, leads to unhappiness and worry.
"blessed are the shallow..."(FrailJ.O.C.), how so very true! i never really understood these lyrics, but i now see that if you don't "over-think" about trivial matters you will be much happier and much more worry-free. there are enough things to worry about already without adding trivial worry!
when worrying, too often i forget to revert to prayer, and yet this is what we are told to do: "do not worry about anyhthing, instead pray about everything..."(Phil 4v7). in Mathew we're also told not to worry about anything, since we can't add a single day to our lives... and yet how i worry!
i can blame it on my situation, blame it on my job, blame it on my life or even blame it in my DNA...but when it comes down to it i'm the one doing the worrying! i guess it's a matter of habit:
if when i get up every day
i repeat those verses and pray
a change to a worry-less life
i will see and this with me will stay...
