g'day from bristol...
i'm in bristol for a few days seeing the girls (emma and claire) and checking out the sights...
i'm currently in oxford for the day, yes the oxford ("hello") seeing andi and madd (from wales, who i went to see there earlier this year and who i met in oz a few years ago).
the weather's fantastic! chili but superb, sun, blue sky...
just finished "beckoning the silence" from joe simpson. wow. a tragic book about the ins and outs (and deaths) of mountaineering and the Eiger (a notorious mountain in switzerland). twas the best and fastest 2 hour train trip i've had!..
i might write some more on it soon.
