Quietness...
it's funny how you get used to things...
istanbul with it's 15million people was sooooooooo busy (people love to use their horns!!!!) that it was constantly noisy. waking up this morni thought something was wrong cause everything was so quiet!
even as i walk the streets of belfast, the main ones, the traffic noise is minimal.
funny cause some of the places we went to were so remote and peaceful, yet i only really remeber the noise of the city.
