ok, ok...
so it's been ages since i last updated. sorry.
here's a wee update in point form from bulgaria.
-left France via trains accross italy to croatia.
-myself and teh bike got there with minimal worry(i was told on some trains "no bike" and on others "you have to pay for bike" and when i went to pay someone else said "you can't take bike"...i got there wit da bike!)
-met up wit da guys a day after arriving in zagreb.
-crossed croatia, bosnia, serbia and bulgaria, just under 1000miles in all.
-different riding styles and personalities made an interesting trip!
-rained once :)
-my butt's sore and hard as.
-everything is so poor and starnge. kinda scary sometimes...
-the people have been really nice to us, and those we spent time with (and invited us to stay with them) were really a blessing.
-seeing so many different places, towns, villages, roads, fields, mountains, valleys, blown appart houses and bullet holes in walls, dogs (thousands!!)...has been unreal.
-the food has been great and it's all very cheap, so cheap in fact that it's sometimes better to "eat out" than cook.
-i'm looking forward to seeing my friends and family again, i miss them (you) all very much.
-can't wait for a proper shower, washing clothes, a SHAVE, and a soft bed.
God has answered so many prayers in so many great ways, i praise him for it and for the opportunity to do this trip in the first place. i pray that the guys i've been riding with will be challenged by certain things i said or did...it hasn't been easy to be a peace maker and try to keep everyone happy without seeming to be a hypocrite or back-stabber.
lots of love to y'all, see you soon.
i'll try and update again shortly (sorry em!!).
weeksi :)
