so i was just lookin at the french school of moutaineering website (see link on side) to check out the training and experience required to become a high altitude mountaineering guide (to be legally able to take groups on mountains). well smokes...as i thought it' syear and years, and that's after years of training to hbe able to achieve the requirements...truly a career or vocation, a calling?
in any case not something to take lightly. obviously any training would be worthwhile and able to be put into practice, but i would say if i was to start now it would take 10 years. i guess in the scheme of things what's 10 years?? i'll be in the prime of life!
