the brain...for worship??
as i've already told some of you, i have a theory on the brain (for those who are switching off with the "another one of his stupid theories" attitude, please read on...)
As humans, we know (well, when i did psychology at uni a few years ago we knew) a small portion of what the brain does. but for the most part we dunno what it does or how it works.
SO...could it be possible that we were designed with the ability to worship God in all it's forms, but that due to sin (the fall and rebellion) our brains have lost the ability to tap into this resource, except for the occasional times when we feel very close to God (he's always at the same distance, just sometimes we fail to see we're close to him) due to an attitude and mindset of worship?
is that why we'll never discover what these areas of our brain do?
i have no way of backing any of this up, but sounds interesting does it not??
OK, OK, just tell me i'll full of it! i guess if doctors discover that these "mysterious areas" are in fact there to help us not soil ourselves or to tell us when we need to eat chocolate, then i'm wrong...
